Overview of Key UX Artefacts (some of the most popular Artefacts)
•Personas: •Fictional characters representing different user types.
•Wireframes: •Basic blueprints for layout and structure of the design.
•Journey Maps: •Visual representations of the user’s interaction with a product over time.
•Other Examples: •Empathy maps, prototypes, sitemaps, user flows.
Best Practices for Creating Personas
•Based on Research: •Use qualitative and quantitative research to create realistic personas.
•Focus on User Goals & Pain Points: •Highlight key goals, challenges, and needs.
•Personality & Behavior: •Capture user motivations and behaviors, not just demographics.
•Actionable: •Ensure personas are directly useful for design decisions, not just a formality.
For my product I will do:
Research artefact - Competitior analysis (VUE, ODION)
-A good idea would be to research competitors apps and how they allow users to access the different elements so that I can utilise these elements into my project. Crafting it into a service that is targted to people looking for local films shown in smaller theatres.
-Look at trustpilot reviews and see what people want changed so that you can create a even better ux.
Design artifact - Wireframe (Describe each element of my app)
