-inform data collection (what type of questions fo u ask)

-provide a framework for data analysis and interpretation (look at the data u collected through the lense of your theory)

-Examine the motivations for cossuming music through streaming service rather than traditional methods

-To eplore shaping factors that affect the way those aged 18-24 consume music
